Protecting Our Children

I just wanted to share a website that may be useful for parents. It's called Family Watchdog. It is a free service where you can look up registered sex offenders near your home. It has pictures of offenders and what the offense is. My zip code has 130 offenders listed!
It is very important to note this is a tool only for awareness and safety reasons.
Harassing anyone on the offender registry is a misdemeanor and can be punished by both a fine and jail time.
I believe many people change and many others are habitual offenders. You never know. It's just nice to know who is near our children.
